The People's Debate

A local citizen action group, We Are Oshawa, is partnering with the Student Association at Durham College and UOIT and Drop Tuition UOIT, a grassroots student group, to host an Oshawa Riding all-candidate debate at the historic Regent Theatre on Thursday, May 29th at 6:30PM.  Dubbed, “The People’s Debate”, the organizers plan to focus the debate on social issues such as retirement security, post-secondary education, and poverty.

    Is there any opportunity to discuss other issues? I have arguments on my chest that I would like to get out regarding Oshawa's energy platform and where it could be going, or where it won't be going, in the future.
